Welcome to a Unique Learning Experience
School Days at Dunrovin offers experiential learning via the internet.
Dunrovin Ranch is a small horse ranch along Montana’s Bitterroot River. School Days at Dunrovin uses the ranch’s many resources – people, wildlife, horses, donkeys, ponies, dogs, river, forests, pastures, gardens, together with live web cameras and computer technology – to create experiential learning opportunities.
Live web cameras on Dunrovin Ranch bring teachers and students right onto the ranch to witness, discuss, and learn from the educational programs and unscripted stories that unfold daily at the ranch.
School Days at Dunrovin supplies supporting educational materials and a safe, secure web site that enables students and teachers to collaborate on joint projects and form meaningful connections with Dunrovin Ranch and other schools across the globe.
In order to ensure quality of service, site security, and student safety, an annual membership will be required to access the School Days at Dunrovin web site . Membership fees have not yet been set.
Membership benefits include:
⦿ Access to all educational content with new material throughout the year
⦿ Continual access to Dunrovin Ranch’s live web cameras
⦿ Teachers’ blog, forum, and chat to exchange ideas and create additional educational opportunities
⦿ Kids’ blog, forum, and chat where students can safely connect with others from across the globe
